BEIJING, June 14 (Xinhua) -- The following are some economic newsitems in brief. CHINESE ENTERPRISES MORE INTERESTED IN E-COMMERCE
Local enterprises, in comparison with foreign-funded businesses,attach more importance to e-commerce on the Chinese market,according to a report on corporate consumer-market strategiesjointly released by the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai andBooz & Company.
The report, which was produced on the basis of a survey of 135Chinese and foreign-funded firms, said that Chinese enterprises havesharpened their competitive edge. The companies surveyed involvesale of consumer goods, manufacturing and health care.
According to the report, 93 percent of Chinese enterprisessurveyed have offered or plan to offer online shopping service orshopping via mobile phone, more than 30 percentage points higherthan the proportion for foreign-funded companies. JIANGSU'S AUTOPARTS EXPORTS UP 35 PCT
East China's Jiangsu Province sold abroad 320 million U.S.dollars worth of auto parts in the first four months of this year, arise of 35 percent on the same period of last year, according to thelocal customs house.

The Walt Disney Company (Shanghai) has started a subsidiary inNingbo, a coastal city in east China's Zhejiang Province. It is thefirst online game production base the American company set upoutside the United States, according to company sources.
The new company will mainly develop online cartoon products andprovide cartoon design, online technology development and Internetinformation services. It will also produce and develop onlinevideos.
